IMO Convention Vessels

Vessels that are obliged to comply with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Safety of Life at Sea Convention (SOLAS) must be registered.

The Cook Islands operates an open register for ships and yachts via a network of Deputy Registrars around the World.

Maritime Cook Islands managed the open registrar on behalf of the Cook Islands, through an agreement with the Ministry of Transport.
